My dream summer music festival would not be Coachella nor would it be Bonnaroo...it would be a combination of both...which is what I'm hoping Sf Outside Lands (or Bumbershoot) will be!
Here's my dream meshing of the line-ups:
Muse, Phoenix, MGMT, Spoon, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Weezer, Tenacious D, The Flaming Lips with Stardeath and the White Dwarfs performing Dark Side of the Moon (This is not made up, this is one of the artists listed for Bonnaroo!!) Regina Spektor, Tori Amos, Ingrid Michaelson, Les Claypool, The Black Keys, She & Him, They May be Giants, Calexico (though, I'd request Iron & Wine play with them), Tokyo Police Club, Brandi Carlile, The Postelles, Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, Yeasayer, Camera Obscura, Yo la Tengo, Florence and the Machine...plus, of course, the smaller bands to open for all of these bands. lol
Personal Additions:
Death Cab for Cutie, Iron and Wine, Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Jack Johnson...etc.
